THE PUNK CONTINUES...THE PIST, WANKYS, CRAZY SPIRIT & MORE!
So another full Saturday helping my Father In Law remodeling the kitchen. So i was not able to attend the RIISTETYT gigs in NYC and Brooklyn yesterday. Also missed England Belongs to Twee in Brooklyn as well. Owning a home can put a damper on your social calendar. I did see Screaching Weasel on Friday Night in Philly. Sounded like dog shit at the Troc but they were great. So siked to see them.
Any way...moving forward lets talk about some gigs.
My buddy Sam who makes some great flyers and other designs put together a flyer for the KYKLOOPPIEN SUKUPUUTTO gigs for Brooklyn and NYC. Check it out.
Where to start, Amelia has a cool show at the Silent Barn tonight, great locals and a cool venue.

A few quick house keeping Notes! ECSR/PJ's, BLACKLISTED, THE PIST & NIGHBIRDS!
Real talk, I helped "dziadek" fix the fence and fabricate a new counter top for the house. I really need to be more handy around the house.
Some news in the making form HARDCORE GIG VOLUME!
1.) The EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING /PISSED JEANS show at Market Hotel on June 19th is being moved to a new venue. Ric and Market Hotel have been having some problems with the local police so they advised me it may be in the best interest of the show to have it moved to a different venue. This will 100% happen. I am working out the details today and should have it all sorted out by weeks end. 2.) BLACKLISTED have been added to the CEREMONY /SKIN LIKE IRON /THE MEN show on Saturday, June 19th @ The Cake Shop. Very stoked about this. This show starts at 3pm and it will end by 7:45pm so you will all be able to make it to the EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING /PISSED JEANS show that will be later that night in Brooklyn (as per # 1)
3.) THE PIST, legendary hardcore punk band from Connecticut will be playing some shows other then Chaos in Tejas this summer. On June 5th THE PIST will be playing a show at Club Europa in Brooklyn ( 98 Meserole Ave @ Manhattan Brooklyn, NY) w/ BRAIN KILLER and more to be announced
4.) Tickets are back up for the EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING /PISSED JEANS at the Cake Shop on June 18th. 5.) NIGHT BIRDS are probably one of my favorite local bands from NJ, Check out their 2 new 7"s on ART OF THE UNDERGROUND & GRAVE MISTAKES / DIRTNAP RECORDS This is Brain from Splitting Headache & Psyched To Die's new band with Dudes from HUNCHBACK & THE ERGS

THE BOMBETTES, DEEP SLEEP, NO FRIENDS & NIGHT BIRDS @ BRUAR FALLS TOMORROW!
Just a quick reminder about the show tomorrow! The Bombettes have had a bit of ruff tour with shows falling through for a few days straight, so try to make it out tomorrow. I checked out the other 3 bands in New Brunswick the other night and they were all pretty dope. Night Birds are one of my new favorite local bands. Really catchy riffy LA styled hardcore punk. Dudes from The Ergs and Snakebite (the band from the make over show). Deep Sleep get tighter every time i see them. They were great. Finally a pleasant surprise of a new band from Tony (Municipal Waste front man) real melodic catchy DC styled hardcore, reminiscent of Dag Nasty
