Man this is going to be a long weekend. So
EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING &
PISSED JEANS are playing this weekend, i'm kinda sick of hearing myself talk about it. Tickets are no longer available, but the shows are NOT sold out, their is room for 50 or so more till capacity at the cake shop and about 100 till capacity at Death By Audio. So if you show up on time you should have no problem getting in. Great Opening bands on both shows, Cake Shop has
BLOODY GEARS are a great new band from Boston and
HOME BLITZ are an awesome power pop band from NJ. And at Death By Audio we have yet another appearance from our favorite Boston band SOCIAL CIRCKLE as well as Population 1280, the shows should be great so definitely try to make it out.
In addition to those shows
CEREMONY &
BLACKLISTED will also be playing on Saturday @ The Cake Shop. (I might as well just sleep at this place on Friday) During the day at 3pm, you can see both of these great Hardcore Bands before you head over to Death By Audio for the ECSR / PJ's gig.
SKIN LIKE IRON, from the Bay area, will also be playing this show. My pals from SF & Oakland tell me they are a killer band so I am definitely stoked to check them out.
THE MEN who just put out there second LP will be opening up gig. Maybe one more band, we will let you know.
Oh yeah, if you didn't get enough of
CEREMONY at the day show you can go check them out later that night at
ACHERON in Brooklyn. This is a really cool new DIY space and i'm glad to have some shows go on there. Thanks Bill!
